Foaming Liquid Hand Soap And Hand Wash
Hands, just like face, are one of part of your body that can people turn away from you. This then makes it necessary to give your hands the best protection against anything that can harm them in any way. These things include germs and bacteria, which are fought against by use of soaps. Not all soaps can work right for your hands. If you use a soap that is not properly researched on, you risk the chances of harming your precious hands. For this reason, you can always use method-cleaning soaps, Avalon, Jason and other liquid soaps and hand washes. The raw materials used to produce these products are biodegradable, such as coconut oil, palm oil and Soya. A very good example of these products is the method hand soap, which comes with different variations. If you want to maintain the skins' smooth nature, you can opt the hand soap with aloe Vera, which works perfectly well with warm water making your hands remain germ free. The other option is the method hand soap in the traditional gel form. This one comes in six different fragrances and contains vitamin E.
Using liquid soap is the preference for businesses, due to cost efficiency. Soap dispensers give each user the proper amount of soap, so there is less waste and better use of soap inventories. Cleaning the sink areas is much easier, as the soap is quickly cleaned up with no residue. There are no messy soapy bars that leave scum and germs behind when you provide liquid soap. This also makes using soap preferable for home use. Liquid soap is easier for children to use, again with less mess and less waste of product.
In addition, another variation is gentler on the hands than the gel soap. The hand soap comes in a bottle, which is long teardrop, and is available in different fragrances. Other than having special locking system that helps in prevention of soap spoilage, these hand soap bottles are perfect for decorative purposes. One is tempted to keep on washing hands more due to the inviting fragrances.
Kiss my face, Dial, Softsoap and more are well known brand name soaps that people trust. They have a light fragrance or can be purchased fragrance free, and create a nice cleaning lather with just a small amount of water. Liquid soap is just as important for home use as it is in the business world. Liquid soaps are available in many variations and containers that are suitable for home use. Liquid soap is also recommended by the CDC to help stop the spread of germs causing illnesses and infections. Hand washing is the best prevention against catching germs before consuming food or touching your face. Using soap makes this process of hand washing easier.
Natural soaps are nature-friendly compared to other brands that are made from chemicals and synthetic ingredients. Thus, it is good to know that aside from the benefits our skin can get we can also help in saving the environment. Typical hand sanitizers contain alcohol that may kill 99.9% of bacteria. However, some basic facts say that killing 99.9% of bacteria may not be good as not all of them are unsafe to our body. Also, alcohol might leave your skin rough and dry.
On the other hand, organic hand and body soap will leave your skin soft and gentle without drying. They are 100% free of preservatives, artificial colors and fragrances. It has a magnificent feel making your bathing and hand washing experience a soothing one. It is available in a handy refillable dispenser, thus, the next time you purchase hand and body soap you can just get the refill packs which will definitely draw forth great savings. Organic hand and body soaps do not use any chemicals that give out its fine texture. It is made of natural ingredients like coconut oils and rosemary oils as natural additives. It is safe to all people and ideal for kids too since it is not poisonous when accidentally consumed by you or your kids.
Hand soap is available in both plain and antibacterial formulations. Hand soap also comes in bar and liquid configurations.
Plain soap products - These products are generally a formulation of natural soap and various other secondary ingredients.
• The secondary ingredients include moisturizers, fragrances, and/or other properties advertised by the brand such as floatation. Finding 100% natural plain hand soap with no secondary ingredients is impossible unless it is homemade.
• Plain hand soap works by separating most contaminants from the skin so that they can be washed away by water. The plain soap does not contain any antibacterial chemicals.
• Finding plain hand soap in the form of liquid soap is very difficult since most liquid soap products are formulated as antibacterial soap.
Antibacterial soap products - Antibacterial soap works similar to plain soap and it also kills bacteria on contact. The merit of using antibacterial soap is still the subject of much controversy for the following reasons:
• If plain soap is used for 20 seconds or more to do a good job of cleaning hands, all viruses and bacteria will be washed away with the water.
• A chemical named Triclosan is added in small quantities to these antibacterial soap products to kill bacteria on the skin. Some people fear that many of the common bacteria are becoming more tolerant to Triclosan because of its overuse. In addition, Triclosan is known to be an endocrine disruptor and reacts with the chlorine in tap water generating chloroform. These concerns have led some countries to consider phasing out the use of Triclosan.
•Triclosan has little or no effect on viruses that cause the common cold and seasonal flu. It only works on bacteria.
A number of infectious diseases can be spread from one person to another by contaminated hands, particularly gastrointestinal infections, influenza and hepatitis A. Washing your hands properly can help prevent the spread of the organisms that cause these diseases. Some forms of gastroenteritis can cause serious complications, especially for young children, the elderly, or those with a weakened immune system. Drying your hands properly is as important as washing them.
You should wash your hands thoroughly: Before preparing food
• Before eating
• Between handling raw and cooked or ready-to-eat food
• After going to the toilet or changing nappies
• After smoking
• After using a tissue or handkerchief
• After handling rubbish or working in the garden
• After handling animals
• After attending to sick children or other family memb
How to wash your hands properly
• To wash hands properly: Wet your hands with warm water.
• Apply one dose of liquid soap and lather (wash) well for 15–20 seconds (or longer if the dirt is ingrained).
• Rub hands together rapidly across all surfaces of your hands and wrists to help remove dirt and germs.
• Don’t forget the backs of your hands, your wrists, between your fingers and under your fingernails.
• If possible, remove rings and watches before you wash your hands, or ensure you move the rings to wash under them, as microorganisms can exist under them.
• Rinse well under running water and make sure all traces of soap are removed, as residues may cause irritation.
• Pat your hands dry using paper towels (or single-use cloth towels). Make sure your hands are thoroughly dry.
• Dry under any rings you wear, as they can be a source of future contamination if they remain moist.
• Hot air driers can be used but, again, you should ensure your hands are thoroughly dry.
• At home, give each family member their own towel and wash the towels often.
Generally, it is better to use liquid soap than bar soap, particularly at work. The benefits of liquid soap include: Hygiene - it is less likely to be contaminated.
• Right amount - liquid soap dispensers do not dispense more than required (more is not better).
• Less waste - it’s easier to use, with less wastage. Drop-in cassette dispensers use all the soap.
• Saves time - liquid soap dispensers are easy and efficient to use.
Disposable liquid soap cassettes are convenient, as you do not have to wash and thoroughly dry the refillable container before refilling. If you want to use refillable containers, they must not be topped up. When they are empty, they must be thoroughly cleaned and dried before they are refilled to avoid contamination. At home, refillable dispensers are more likely to be used rather than drop-in cassettes, which are designed for commercial use.
